SSM Creative is a joint venture between StandingStone Media and Stetz Designs. StandingStone Media and Stetz Designs have been working together for more than 3 years and each has individually been in business for over 10 years. The primary focus of SSM Creative is to provide creative solutions tying together the print and online worlds creating a symbiosis between what has previously been a disparate existence for many individuals, businesses and organizations.
StandingStone Media was created and started by Joshua Lampe at his home office after being laid off during a company wide downsizing. Just a man and his computer looking to change the landscape of websites from expected to entertaining, interesting and (dare we say) intriguing.
It seemed that websites had already fallen into patterns based on the industry involved and that was (yawn) quite boring. Josh knew that there had to be a better way so he put on his cape (or his favorite t-shirt) and started on his quest to make a more diverse and entertaining web experience for all.
In 2006, Matt and Stacie joined the SSM team. Matt brings a wealth of programming knowledge, a different point of view to our design projects and a smile every morning for those who are graced with his presence. Stacie, well we’re not so sure what her title is exactly. But we do know that she does a little bit of everything…
Most recently, Stetz Designs joined the ranks of SSM Creative. Stetz is a creative mind who spends much of his time in a corner of the office quietly designing. Whether it be print or online, Stetz is meticulous in his work.
As we weave our way through this little adventure known as SSM Creative, we pick up little nuggets of knowledge and wisdom along the way. We’ve gone from a one-man website design only show to offering our clients a varied menu of services from web to brand to print.
